Heartfelt Interfaith Ministries

Our Mission

Heartfelt Interfaith Ministries strives to create a group based in love and understanding.

1. We wish to create instructional and discussion groups to promote understanding between various religious groups.

2.To bridge the gap between worship and reaching out to the larger community of Portage County, WI. Change begins at home.

3. To promote volunteerism and random acts of kindness through out the community.

4. To encourage members and non-members alike in the spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation.

5. To share information and traditions between disparate groups to facilitate understanding and to prevent prejudice and intolerance.

The Ministers

Rev. Kelly Hunt

Rev. Kelly was ordained by the Universal Life Church in July of 2006 and again by Univeral Ministries in  January of 2007. Establishing an Interfaith ministry is the newest project that Rev. Kelly has undertaken.

Rev. Kelly has been studing comparative religious theory for several years, and continues to do so today. Understanding the world around us and the beliefs it encompasses is an on going process.

Reverend Kelly has been married for over 10 years, and has two beautiful boys. In their spare time the family enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and sledding together. Their family is rounded out by their dog, Colby and a turtle, named Tiny Tim.

 Rev. Zita Ruediger

Rev. Zita was ordained by the Universal Life Church in June of 2008. Along with Rev. Kelly and Rev. Jason, establishing an Interfaith Ministry is her newest project.

Rev Zita has been studying comparative religion for many years, and still continues to do so today. In her free time, Rev. Zita enjoys reading, writing, sewing, and growing heirloom roses.

Rev. Jason Worzalla

Rev. Jason was ordained by the Universal Life Church in September of 2005. Since then, Rev. Jason earned two honorary degrees in Motivation and Religious Science. Rev. Jason continues his education through comparative religion and Biblical studies.

Rev. Jason is excited to finally see the ministy that he envisioned in 2005 become a reality today. He is the inspiration behind Heartfelt Interfaith Ministries.
